Saco - Stockman Ave and Lucille St.

This water main replacement project will replace approximately 1,500 feet of 2-inch water main on Stockman Avenue in Saco, which dates back to the 1940s and 1950s. The old water main will be replaced by 8-inch ductile iron main. Additionally, we will be replacing 30 individual service lines on Stockman Avenue and Lucille Street and will add one new fire hydrant, increasing fire protection, and multiple new valves to the system to aid in future water main replacement project or in the event of a water main break. Overall, this project will result in a major improvement in water flow in the area.

Our work will begin in mid-June, but leading up to that, contractors, equipment and signs may be in the area.

There will be a few planned water shutdowns during the project. Customers will be notified in advance. Please be sure that we have your up-to-date contact information by checking out the Everbridge link below. Everbridge is our system to directly notify customers for any planned shut downs or emergency. You can receive texts, emails or phone calls.
