Bucksport - School Street
About the project: We're installing approximately 565 feet of new water main to provide an interconnection between two major streets, which will improve water quality and fire flows.
Location: School Street, Between Pond Street and Franklin Street

Freeport - Cousins River Bridge Crossing
About the project: Working in partnership with the Yarmouth Water District, we're replacing 800 linear feet of water main in support of future Maine DOT highway bridge improvements.
Location: US Route 1 on the Cousins River Bridge

Greenville - North and South Wiggins Streets
About the project: We are replacing 1,690 linear feet of water main along North and South Wiggins Streets in Greenville. The existing water main pipe is over 100 years old and replacing it will increase capacity and improve water quality in th earea.
Location: North Wiggins, South Wiggins, Pritham Ave
Approximate Completion Date: Fall 2023
Hartland - Commercial and Academy Streets
About the project: We're replacing 550 linear feet of old water main with a history of breaks to improve water quality and service.
Location: Commercial Street between Main Street and Seekins Street, and some adjacent areas of Academy Street.
Approximate Completion Date: Fall 2023
Millinocket - Central, Massachusetts and Cedar Streets
About the project: We're replacing 1,560 linear feet of unreliable water main with a history of breaks to improve water quality and reliability
Location: Central Street, with partial work on Cedar Street and Massachusetts Avenue.

Oakland - Pleasant Street
About the project: We're replacing 1,400 feet of water main, including a railroad crossing, on Pleasant Street. This area has a recent break history and the work will improve water quality, fire flows and reliability.
Location: Pleasant Street, between ME 23 and Oak Street
Approximate Completion Date: Fall 2023
Parsonfield
About the project: We're constructing a new treatment plant and additional wells in Parsonfield for our Kezar Falls Division, which serves customers in Porter, Parsonsfield and Hiram.
Approximate Completion Date: Fall 2024
Rockport
About the project: We are expanding the lagoon at our water treatment plant. This will expand capacity for the treatment plant filtration process and allow us to increase treatment capacity, efficacy and allow us to strengthen our storage management strategy.
Rockport - Mechanic Street, Beauchamp Point Road and Winter Street
About the project: We are replacing 2,400 linear feet of old water main on three streets that have experienced recent water main breaks. Replacing this water main will improve water quality and deliver more reliable service to the area.
Location: Mechanic Street from Spear Street to Russell Ave, Winter Street, and Beauchamp Point Road near Spear Street

Saco - Beach Street
About the project: Maine Water is replacing 1,800 linear feet of water main along Beach Street to address recent water main breaks on old water main pipe. This replacement will improve water quality and system reliability

Saco - Exit 35
About the project: In coordination with the Maine Turnpike Authority (MTA), we are locating 570 feet of water main to support MTA highway improvements.
Location: North Street at I-95

Saco - Seaside Avenue
About the project: This project will consist of the installation of 2,810 linear feet of new water main On Seaside Avenue and its cross streets to replace and relocate old water main from 1909 on Surf Street which has been affected by coastal flooding and erosion. The new main will improve water quality, fire flows, allow better access for maintenance and create better resiliency for the local system and its residents.
Location: Seaside Ave and Cross Streets from Pond Avenue through Eagle Avenue

Skowhegan - Lower Pond Outlet Structure
About the project: We're making essential infrastructure upgrades at our lower pond water source to improve treatment reliability at the Skowhegan Water Treatment Facility.
Approximate Completion Date: 2024
Skowhegan - Madison, Commercial, Elm and High Streets
About the project: We're replacing 1,100 linear feet of old water main with a history of breakage in recent years. Replacing the pipe will improve water quality and provide more reliable service to customers in this area.
Location: Madison Avenue from Pleasant Street to High Street, with work continuing into parts of HIgh Street, Elm Street and Commercial Street.
Approximate Completion Date: Fall 2023
Thomaston - Erin, Robinson and Gleason Streets
About the project: We're replacing 2,700 linear feet of water main with newer pipes of a larger diameter. This work will improve fire flows, water quality, and deliver enhanced reliability to the area.
Location: Elm Street from Beechwood to Main Street; Robinson Street from Main Street to Gleason Street
Approximate Completion Date: Fall 2023
Thomaston - Knox, Elliot, Dunn, Water, Fluker, Hyler and Thatcher Streets
About the project: We're replacing 2,700 linear feet of water main with newer pipes of a larger diameter. This work will improve fire flows, water quality, and deliver enhanced reliability to the area.
Location: Knox Street from US-1 to the coast; Elliot Street, portions of Water, Fluker, Hyler and Thatcher Streets adjacent to Knox Street.
