Maine Water Assistance Program
Things happen. As a result, some people may fall behind on, or have difficulty making utility payments. The H20 Hardship Assistance Program is here to help during those tough times. The program is available to support qualified customers with partial water bill forgiveness.
Maine Water is now offering financial assistance on water bills to customers facing hardship through a program called H2O Customer Assistance.
While we have always been ready to work with customers experiencing financial difficulties by setting up deferred payment arrangements, this new program provides qualifying residential customers on approved payment arrangements partial water bill forgiveness.
The program is aimed at assisting those most in need during this difficult economic period so they may continue to access safe, reliable water for drinking and personal hygiene needs.
